Dialogue leads The Venture by Chivas Regal in Mexico

The Venture is Chivas Regal’s global social entrepreneurship platform that showcases and funds the best projects from around the globe that demonstrate you can ‘Win The Right Way’ – which means creating businesses that generate profit and at the same time make the world a better place. To reward the most compelling projects, Chivas set up a million dollar fund.  Dialogue led the communications strategy in Mexico since the first edition in 2014 that started by pitching a business accelerator to be the brand’s strategic partner, and selecting 500 Startups.

The first campaign stage was focused on participant recruitment, and Mexico was ranked #1 in recruitment numbers among 16 participating countries – including advanced markets such as the U.S. and China, securing 50% of the total global submissions.

The second stage consisted of reviewing all submissions and selecting five finalists who then pitched their projects in front of a local jury of experts and Hollywood actor/campaign ambassador Oscar Isaac.  The campaign culminated in an international finals competition in Silicon Valley in July 2015. Dialogue proposed and coordinated the participation of three key media to travel to San Francisco, and worked locally in Mexico to amplify the event. During the finals competition, the 16 finalists all pitched their projects to win a part of the million dollar fund.

After a successful first edition, Dialogue is once again leading the communications strategy for The Venture 2.0 starting off with a special launch event for entrepreneurs in September 2015 that consisted of three sessions with a total of eight speakers from different areas of the social entrepreneurial ecosystem in the market, followed by a networking cocktail. Dialogue was in charge of selecting and recruiting all speakers coming from these areas such as incubators, social entrepreneurs and the wing of the Mexican government that is in charge of supporting entrepreneurs (INADEM). The agency also pitched the event to all target media and led the invitation to the entrepreneurial community through liaising with key partners (business accelerators, incubators, event organizers, etc.).  We look forward to witnessing the success of The Venture 2.0.
