The Opportunity

Axon, a global leader in public safety technology, set out to introduce its Vehicle Intelligence ecosystem in Mexico — a connected platform that integrates in-vehicle cameras, AI-powered analytics, license plate recognition, and digital evidence systems to support real-time decision-making and operational efficiency for law enforcement.

With no local communications lead in Mexico, Dialogue worked directly with Axon’s global communications team and local leadership to define how this complex solution should be introduced, understood, and positioned in the market.

The opportunity was not only to launch a new product, but to shape how media, stakeholders, and the broader ecosystem understand the role of connected technologies in modern public safety in Mexico.

The Approach

Dialogue led the strategic development and execution of a communications platform designed to translate Vehicle Intelligence into a clear, relevant, and credible story for the Mexican market.

The focus was to move away from a traditional product launch and instead create a real-world demonstration of how the ecosystem works in practice — and why it matters.

  • Market introduction strategy.
Defined how Vehicle Intelligence should be positioned in Mexico, connecting the technology to broader themes such as operational efficiency, accountability, and the future of public safety.

  • Narrative development.
Built a clear and accessible story around how AI, video, and connected systems work together to support faster, more informed decision-making in real-world scenarios.

  • Media experience design.
Designed a controlled, single-session activation in Bosque de Chapultepec, where selected journalists and creators could experience the technology live. The experience included a guided narrative, live vehicle demonstration, and direct interaction with the system and spokespersons.

  • Targeted media engagement.
Curated a group of high-relevance media and creators across technology, public affairs, and mobility, ensuring alignment with Axon’s positioning and maximizing story relevance.

  • Spokesperson and content alignment.
Developed messaging frameworks, media materials, and briefing documents, ensuring consistency across global and local narratives.

Post-event storytelling.
Extended the impact through targeted follow-up, content distribution, and identification of additional editorial angles

The Experience

The activation was designed to allow media to move beyond understanding the product conceptually and instead see it in action.

Attendees experienced:

  • A live demonstration of Axon’s connected ecosystem, including Fleet 3, real-time video capture, and AI-driven alerts

  • A structured narrative showing how the system supports operational awareness and decision-making

  • Direct interaction with the technology and Q&A with spokespeople

The format created a more tangible understanding of how Vehicle Intelligence operates within real public safety environments — a clear departure from traditional static product briefings.

The Impact

The activation successfully reframed how Axon’s technology is understood in Mexico, shifting the conversation from product features to real-world application and value.

  • Delivered Axon’s first Vehicle Intelligence Demo Day in Mexico, introducing the ecosystem through a live, immersive experience

  • Generated immediate media coverage across top-tier outlets and digital platforms, with continued follow-up interest and additional story development

  • Drove content creation across social and digital channels from attending media and creators

  • Positioned Axon as a relevant voice in conversations around AI, public safety modernization, and connected systems in Mexico

  • Established a replicable model for future product introductions and executive engagements in the region

One of the strongest validations of the activation came directly from public safety personnel on site. As one auxiliary police officer observed:

“This would solve everything for us.”

Two interviews were held, and the event generated immediate visibility and follow-up editorial interest, including:

  • Social media and published coverage from attending creators and journalists
